What's your favorite GPS?

Currently I am using a 5" Tom Tom that works and have an older Garmin.

What's the best for a portable car GPS?

Thanks

Get the 'power' or optic that your eye likes instead of what someone else says.

When we go to the doctor they ask us what lens we like!

Do that with your optics.

I have a Tom Tom, don't really use it much except when in a strange city but boy is it helpful then!

It seems the ETA is usually about 45 min off for a couple hundred mile trip, other than that works pretty well.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Is it mission-aware, such that it allows for potty breaks and the occasional rest stop nap?

I have a factory refurbished Garmin 2557 that I recently paid $ 100 for and that comes with life time upgrades on mapping for Canada, USA and Mexico. I have used it several times and I have learned that the Garmin Lady is always correct. Accurate to 5 feet. Will do much more than I am qualified to do.
