Not sure if everyone has seen this one yet. A friend forwarded me a copy of what I think was H.B. 117? I read it + deleted it. I should have saved it but didn't. It is also known as the Sheik law. Basically, it will gut the 2nd amendment + REQUIRE total registration w/ huge jail times for noncompliers. If anyone can pull it up, this NEEDS to be shared! Thanks

Try this. HTTPS://www.congress.gov/bill/.../house-bill/127/text. It is listed as H.R. 127 117th congress by Sabika Sheikh.

If politicians spend 1% of their time doing something useful, instead of stupid, they might get something done which helps people!

Firstly: Congress can't gut the 2nd Amendment; it requires a Constitutional Amendment; the states are not going to pass such an amendment. Secondly, even if Congress were to pass such legislation, how many of you patriots are going to abide by a law that takes away your constitutional rights? I hope the answer is none. That's the reason for the 2nd Amendment!

I posted something about House Bill H.R. 127 in the Political Forum thinking that was the proper section for this discussion. It didn't take long for the conversation to veer waaaaay off course. After reading the many spirited responses (unrelated to this bill ha ha) perhaps I was mistaken posting it there. But I am fairly current on what a lot of the political forum brethren think of one another.

At the present time, I know of NO LEO's that are willing to enforce something like this.

Methinks it was the right place for it, but...
It is a mean-spirited bill, jumped the shark, so to speak.

well that now that they have the house, senate, + oval office, they plan to go for everything. I REALLY don't want a civil war but that is what they're advocating. And if we get that far to that advanced stage of social unrest, don't think that other foreign powers won't be right on the fringe like jackels trying to take down a lion. Are the socialists too stupid to see this or is it their game plan?

There are moderate Democrats who are not gun-grabbers. In places where Republicans are going to lose anyway, we should be putting up primary election campaign contributions for them, and making it known why. We could start now, before HR 127 gets momentum, as a hint about 2022 midterms.

The bill is a legislative "kill shot", a laundry list of damn near everything a gun-grabber would salivate over...
