Thanks for posting the link and I will be interested to watch this.

He was certainly an amazing individual and had a big influence. Maybe its our Utah connection,
maybe not, but my family has always been die hard Browning enthusiasts!

I believe he was 12 years old when he built his first gun?? Its amazing what he accomplished!

Among many of his stories, I like the one about his 1st, machine gun design.
while trying a prone shoot in Utah, he noticed the grass before the muzzles moving due to the gas passage. In 45 minutes he designed a flapper w/ bore cut out mounted to the bore w/ a connecting rod to the lever. In one shot the gas would move the rifle into battery + fire until all rounds were fired. Smart man!

For any of you passing through the Salt Lake City area, it is worth a stop in Ogden to visit the Browning Museum. It is in the old railroad station. There is an Air Force museum just south of Ogden right off I-25 that is also worth seeing.
