other that the trees being stripped of leaves, and street flooding, we survived.... i'm just inside loop 610, south of hy 59, south of the galleria area... our condo is on the 3rd floor, on the side away from the main part of the storm...thanks, jim and monica...

I am glad to hear that you and your family are OK. As bad as Ike's impact was to the area, from the original predictions, it could have been much worse.
