I started a new job in Nov 1994. IT job.

On Nov 11 1994 my boss walks by and says, "come on to the conference room. "
Everyone was walking to the conference room. It was a small room. Each floor
of the place was a different business unit. Standing at the front of the room
were 4 co-worker, much older than me, some from the other areas in the company.
One had is suit jacket off, tie askew, shirt unbuttoned and pulled open.
His tee shirt said USMC across his chest.

On the big table was a huge sheet cake, canoli cream of course. Bob, one of the
AVP's on my floor spoke for everyone. He was also a Marine. After he was done
he took out his K-Bar and started cutting up the cake.

I worked there 10 years and then my floor was merged with another company,
63 took early retirement and probably 60 moved over.

Right then and there I knew I was in the right place.
