Question about Courteney boots
Gents,

These Courteney boots were advertised on ebay as being elephant hide. What say the experts? Elephant? Hippo? Something else? Sorry about the large size, I copied the URL from ebay. Thanks,

Most likely elephant. If you fly into Harare and have time, buy them there. I bought a new pair there at one of the shopping centers for 270.00
They are good, comfortable and don't require much breaking in.

No expert by far, but it doesn't look like any elephant hide items I have. I've got a lot of buffalo leather and a pair of Courtney buffalo boots. Doesn't look like that either.

I'm betting on hippo.
