Well. My 40 years of Guns&Ammo and American Rifleman are starting to take up too much room.

I kept Pop's collection of G&A from 1960, stopped the subscription in the mid-90's

Still have AR coming.

Guns and Gun World from the 60's-70's was more How-to and Hands On and just more interesting.

Do you keep'em or Dump'em? are they available softcopy?

Put them in a couple of auctions as complete sets, winner to pay actual shipping cost.

You might be surprised how much they will bring. And even if it isn't what we'd consider a real bounty, at least someone will be paying you to send them their way....

Tried to move out 30 year old Petersen's Hunting in a garage sale two years ago. Zero interest. Still got them.

Are there no veteran's hospitals or veteran's homes they can be left at? How about a local community center or adult care facility?

Or they can be given to a local gunshop to put on its counter as giveaways to their customers. The local ones here love that because it attracts customers to visit more often and creates interests in more/different guns.

I did all of the above with mine...including complete sets of American Rifleman since 1937, and every issue ever printed (up until the disbursement of them all) of Guns, Guns & Ammo, Rifle, Handloader, Precision Shooting, Shooter's News, and Shooting Times.

Sort of a giveback to the sport which centered my life.

American Rifleman used to have great articles/How To's also, but those are days long gone by.

I switched all my magazines to the digital copies, and bought one of those tablets.
I can get several years worth on a $5 memory stick.
