Monster catfish !!

When we were fishing in the upper Amazon 2 years ago, one guy in our group of 8 caught 2 catfish( paraiba) that his guide estimated at approx 225+ and 250+. Both were over 6’ long and 24”+ across the head. He pulled them up on a sandbar for pictures and they were impressive!!

Reminds me of a sturgeon I caught in the Columbia river. Had to release it as it was outside the slot limit. Took a picture of it before releasing it. The picture weighed 4.5 lbs.

Now, there's a true fisherman telling tales. All true of course.
