ledvmCamp sleeping air-mattress
Not for backpacking...weight not a big concern....comfort is.
What is/where to get the best most durable air mattress for under a sleeping bag for camping.
Thank you kindly in advance.

DesertRamLane, if weight and space aren't an issue, skip the air mattress and get a cot pad from Cabela's (or wherever). I use one for sleeping on a large cot, ground, floor, pickup bed, whatever. It's darn near as comfortable as my mattress at home.

Beretta682EGet a REI camping bed - you won’t need an air mattress.

MyNameIsEarlI am looking too and appreciate this post. I had back surgery 2 years ago and its been tough finding a good camp bed. The days of throwing a 3 inch thick foam pad on the ground is loooong gone

Use Enough GunI've got an XXL cot and sports cot camp pad from Teton Sports. Both are outstanding. You can get them at Sportsman's, or order online.

UtahLeftyPaco Pads are the ticket, IMO. (The real ones from Jack's welding). They're pricey but man are they NICE.
We have several we bought for rafting trips as that's what they we designed for but we use them on car-camping trips too.
Fair warning: they're bulky (like 1x2 feet rolled up) but they're not really ever rolled up on a raft.
