All you cat guys. If your intrested in doing a full body leopard and a shoulder mount roan please send me some picks of leopard you have done along with references. I would like to see some shoulder mounts as well.

My last taxdermist did not use the correct frame for my leopard, so he is fired.

You can e-mail me pics at Jeff@JHINC.US

When I started looking for a leopard taxidermist, I compared a LOT of work. I chose www.truelifetaxidermy.org/Home.aspx and have been very pleased.

There are a bunch of leopard pics on the website, I think mine is the third one on the third page. A leopard on a fireplace mantle. (If I had known it was going on a website I would of taken a better photo! Big Grin )

+1 for the Wildlife Gallery. They are doing my leopard now.

IMO, the cats are either very good, or very bad. Dan's work is some of the best I have seen.

Congrats on the cat!

Hello Jeff:

We are doing several leopards at present and are not far from your neighborhood.

I have a few of our previous leopard mounts on on our website: African lifesize

You will find a number of our shoulder mouts there as well.

Best regards

There are lots of good leopard guys out there, some of whom are mentioned here.

However, I've seen Dean Schulte's cat that is linked in Anton's post in person. It was the BEST I've seen, period. I stopped dead in the aisle of SCI and stared at the face of the cat. It was uncanny how alive the cat looked. The action pose was not my favorite, but the face . . . well just look at the picture. It was just like it was alive.

I am using Phil Soucy this year if I am lucky enough to harvest a Mt. Lion on my Mt. Lion hunt this year. My outfitter sends all his cats to Phil.

Not to hijack the thread, but woodsie, who are you hunting lions with? I will probably be sending Phil another cougar this winter as I am going for a third cat with Byron Stewart.
