Yes Anton, I have seen these made by , Caun in Zimbabwe he had some at DSC, his looked terrible to me.
And I did see your older post, when you first posted it in 2012. I always wanted to do my own spin and am working on a bushbuck right now and more. My new ones will have both horns on them, the angles are tricky work to do it but I HATE cutting off one horn, it just sucks to display that way. Some like them, some hate them but you know what they say...it isn't art till someone hates it.

.
I missed this when it was first posted.

A superb piece - congratulations!

Is the hide one continuous piece or is there a join / seam behind the head ?

Would work with a sable too I imagine. Great way to display a trophy.

Cheers

Charlie

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
