Anyone here have any experience in hunting with particular Indian Reservations? Was looking at sheep and Elk but wanted to go somewhere that's reputable.

I'm thinking that the Jicarilla Apache, Mescalero Apache and Navajo nations run pretty decent operations in NM.

You can also hunt sheep on private lands in New Mexico, Colorado and Texas.

The Amandaris near Truth or Consequences has ranch tags for Desert Bighorns. I think, $80,000?

There are a few ranches in Texas that have them.

There are at least 3 ranches in Colorado that have bighorns not sure if Rocky Mountain or not.

The Hualapai people of Arizona have sheep tags.

The Apache and Navajo and maybe the Acama Pueblo have sheep tags.

I hunted pronghorn at Ft Peck years ago. Well managed herds. Very cordial dealings with the agency game guys.
