Does anyone have info on Robert Triebel. Trying to establish value on a 7x57R with that name on it.
Thanks in advance.
Harry

As far as I know, Triebel today is more or less a Frankonia "look a-like". Before the war, Triebel produced some very high end custom guns built on Suhl and Ferlach components. If the gun is a pre-war gun and more than the basic variety, it would be worth investigating.

Correct... They sold very fine guns.

I have a Triebel-Augsburg drilling, a high grade gun and am proud to have it in the stable. It's 16ga 2 3/4" and 8X57JR (re-chambered by Lee LeBas from 8X57JR-360) It shoots to the sights at 100 meters, even after the chambering to a hotter round. That surprised me.
