30-06, I can understand. Universally available, adequate for most game, legal in most countries. 30R Blaser? I reckon the next one imported into OZ will be the first. Dunno about the USA or Europe, must be big sellers in your neck of the woods.
I think I'll stick with the 7x57R/12g. Legal almost everywhere, and isn't too hard to find ammo for.
As for the small calibers, isn't the 5.6x52R the 22 Savage Hi-Power?

Cheers, Dave.

Dave,
you are right, the 5,6x52R is the old savage. I am wondering that this cartrige is No.1 because it has about 20% less enery than the 5,6x50R.

But the 30R Blaser is really a shooting star. Might be interessting to see what will happen with the new Blaser 45 cartridge.

Some more

Blaser Doublebarrel rifle No.1 9,3x74R
Relation D99 (Drilling) to D99Duo (Doubleriflebarrel Drilling) is 1:2 sold rifles.

This makes sense except the 5.6x52R, I would have thought the 22 Hornet, 222, or 6x62R or 6.5x65R would have been mor popular.

Dave the 30Blaser isn't popular in the states. I bet there aren't 50 in the whole country and that's 365 Million people.

D99, that's probably 50 more than in OZ. They must be really popular in Europe.
The most popular over here seem to be the 7x57R (ease of finding ammo, traditional chambering, etc), the 9.3x74R (power), and the 308 (find ammo almost anywhere). And I know of one in 7x65R/20/20.
Saw the first S2 cape gun yesterday, 6.5x65R/20.
Seems an awful lot of money to get a SxS version of a 95/97BBF?

Merry Christmas.

Cheers, Dave.

I don't know that this is popular anywhere, but if I hit the lottery, it would be a 6.5 x 57R and a 20 Ga. Slimmer and lighter, and capable of doing most of what needs to be done where there are no big bears.

My second choice would be a 9.3 x 74 and 20m Ga. combination. Three inch chambers on the 20, of course...Rusty.
