I wonder how this amazing collection of "thinkers" pretends that CITES and an international effort is going to protect lion from the farmers who routinely poison and shoot dozens of them as vermin? Looks like another "Let's blame the hunters, raise a lot of money from the clueless, and then do nothing to actually net any measurable results at the ground level' type of plan. Lots of that going around in Africa these days...
