1st, beautiful rifle, know it will shoot as good as it looks. Question, why the 358 instead of the 35 Whelen?

When I first started thinking custom build I was thinking of feeding it primarily cast. The 358 win works very well for that. I still have a savage 110 30 06 here that I may turn into a Whelen for a big game gun. Or maybe a 338 06.
