Nah, you don't need snake boots. In Florida I hunt in rubber boots almost exclusively.

TBEAR, I sent you a couple of PMs....... Get some rubber boots from Cabelas (I think I paid 60 bucks for mine), and that is all you will need for Florida.

Whitworth is right, but to answer your question; mine are Rockys. Like I said, I survey land and am out in the woods a lot. They cost about $150 bucks for a pair.

Couldn't agree with you more, but I like the tall rubber boots because you frequently get your feet wet in Florida and they will keep the chiggers off of your legs. Plus, the rubber boots keep the hogs from smeeling your feet -- I'm not kidding! jumping

There is life after oohrah - I know!! Congrats and thanks for your service!

Gentlemen, let me get a tentative headcount so we can slowly start solidifying our plans. I talked to the outfitter a couple of weeks ago and he knows when we are approximately planning this trip.......

Can I ask that you PM me if you intend to come down for the hunt? I need a head count and I need to then talk to the outfitter. He is offering us a discount if there are at least 10 of us heading down there. Then we will discuss sleeping arrangements.

Hold on! Are you telling I only have to show up with two stinking rounds? (One if I can get them to line up behind one another). What about my African Hunting Boots, my scent loc clothing, my Under Armor clothing, my hog calling gear, my hog dispatching knife, my 10x50 Zeiss binoculars, all of which is on order? Will they get here in time? Geez oh man! My heart rate is up so high I need a drink and a cigar to calm me down. That's another thing, 'ol Ray Atkinson says I should only drink Amarula and smoke real Cuban cigars. Do they sell those in town over there?
Peter.
