Radar detector went nuts coming home, cops all over. Played it safe.
That Toyota van was nice except for the rear seats. Smooth and powerful with great gas mileage.
Getting from Markos to my house was hell. It was raining and VA uses cheap paint on the roads. It can't be seen in the dark. The road can not be seen if headlights are coming at you. I had the same problems coming home from Dulles all those years. Driving blind is no fun. Of all the states I have driven in, VA is the worst.

Peter, just remember, after Bama takes our guns, we will have to stab the piggies with 1" knives. 3" will also be banned.
Have you all seen the new list of banned guns to be voted on by the liberal congress? That is the beginning only! Mad

Not a chance for the Fall for me, guys. In less than two weeks we have muzzle loader deer season, I have a PA bear hunt, and then the regular deer season (handgun fo course), so I am all tied up for this year. We could do something in the spring, though.......

jeff, yes, it was a handgun only hunt -- you need to start practicing! We are expecting you to come out next time!

I think they're beyond plentyful and also moving north. I live in SW MO about 15 miles north of the Arkansas line and saw my first specimens earlier this summer. One of 'em had even crawled under the barbwire fence from my neigbor's pasture and was in my damn back yard! Not large, probably not over 75 lbs or so but there was at least 3 of 'em.

Had I not watched a program on the Discovery Channel earlier that spring I probably would have been at loss as to even what the heck they were. According to that program they have cross breed with both domestic hogs and also some specimen of Russian wild boars that were "accidently" released a few years ago and have grown quit large and multiple like rabbits. MO hunting laws. NO season. Shoot on sight.

I shot a big boar in Fayette, MO back in '04......

I enjoy hunting hogs a lot more than deer (don't get me wrong as I like hunting deer), and need to do it a couple times a year for my mental health.

That is very true. If the weather is hot, the animal needs to be skinned out and frozen as quick a possible. What happened is called slipping.
