We normally watch soccer matches at the weekend.

But, we are making an exception this Saturday, to watch - as one of my Kiwi friends said - a match between the Convicts v The Explorers!

A well fought final.

The All Blacks owned the first half but the Aussies made a match of it in the second half with the man advantage.

The drop goal by Carter and the late try by Barret with his fresh legs made the difference.

In the second half I thought the wallabies might turn it around, but, that did not happen.

The winners certainly deserved it.
