I have just taken on the dealership to sell these shooting sticks. I first saw this design last year in Tanzania when a European client brought them to use and was so impressed with how steady they are (seeing him shoot quite a few animals at 200 yards+ in the open plains) that I decided to introduce them to the US market!

They are made of aluminium and weigh around 2 lbs. Closed they measure only 30.5 inches long and come in their own bag so very portable and thus great to practice with at home and take on your hunt. I wanted to try them out first hand and below is a target that TWO of us shot at 100 yards the first time and felt with a bit of practice one could even do better! I can say they are far more steady than the traditional 3 legged African sticks that we have all used as they provide support to the forearm as well as the stock. The nice thing about them is that they can be adjusted to shoot from a standing, kneeling or even sitting position. So are ideal to even use in the mountains shooting up or down hill. The front support is wide so the gun can be moved easily. Its also easy to reposition as you just swing one leg around. They really are a game changer.

Being made of aluminium they are way cheaper than the European versions made of carbon fibre which retail for around $300+!






Target at 100 yards. 1.75" if you discount the flyer.


These sell for $175 including packing and shipping, except to AK and Hawaii (will need to work out exact shipping if anyone is interested). Payment can be made by personal check, paypal (friend option) or Venmo.

I'm used to shooting standing up, not kneeling. How tall will these go? Or, are they made to kneel to shoot?

Top pic shows them fully extended. My clients that have hunted with PHs using these sticks have raved about them.

I used a set of those on a Sable hunt last year in South Africa and they were great. I hit the Sable perfect at 150yds no problem.

Gentlemen these sticks are extendable from 30.5 to 69 inches. What is also nice about them is they have markings on the sticks so once you set one up for yourself you just extend it to your size marking. No need to keep fiddling with them everytime to check for size.

To set them up.

1. Adjust the top strap to your rifle, keep in mind the forearm rests on the wide part and the stock not the pistol grip is in the V. These are both rubber fixtures so will not spoil your H&H double
2. Extend the sticks to the height of your chin when standing straight
3. Adjust the legs out or in to normal shooting position

When storing release the tension on the clamps.

These things are huge in Europe right now.

First Jagd and Hund show I did in 2017 there were a few different companies selling them.

Then in 2018 there were a few more.

In 2019 I lost count of the number of companies that were doing them in wood, carbon fiber, and aluminium.

Hell of a set of sticks.

I'm dropping my check in the mail to Arjun in the morning for two sets, one for me and one for my father. I'm a big fan of this style of sticks that supports the back of the rifle. I bought a set for me and for my father manufactured by a French company a couple of years ago, but they were standing only. His style of hunting is more conducive to sitting, so these should really fit the ticket. The strap should be especially useful when using it sitting. I'll probably take that off for standing as mine don't have it and never seem to have needed it, but we'll see. Really looking forward to using these.

Literally last week showed my sticks to a friend and fellow hunter in Africa. He asked if it was adjustable and mine aren't. They are standing only. Told him I'd get info on the sticks I've been using, but texted him and told him I was going to hold off until I saw these.

They look great.

Am I correct that there are up to 8 cam lock adjustments to make (two per leg)? I would think that would take some time to set up.

Am I wrong?

Hello Jim,

You are right but it takes all of a few seconds to flip the locks. The sticks have measurements on each leg so you can adjust them at home for standing, sitting or kneeling positions for your height, this way you can just extend them to that size in the field without fiddling around and they are very quick to set up. As is typically done you or your guide would carry them in the ready to use position in the field if you were stalking or walking along or if you were sitting in a blind then you would adjust them in advance when you get set up.

If carried extended then you would just put the legs together and use the velcro tie to hold them together. When closed, the carry bag has a strap so easy to sling over your shoulder and carry along.

Received my order last week and have taken it out to the range. Great product and a huge improvement over the traditional tripod style sticks.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and a healthy and happy 2021.

We have just received a new consignment of these sticks with more on the way. We have had a great demand for these sticks and had sold out completely. I really appreciate the understanding and support of everyone who ordered them ages ago and waited patiently for the sticks to arrive! It's a nice problem to have but it was frustrating to wait so long. All orders have now been shipped out.

Below some pictures of them in use. This hunter told me he shot this deer at around 240 yards and they were very steady!











I also used them on the range with my double 470 to see how they would work and will post some pictures of the target shortly. I will leave you to judge the stability of these sticks once you see the target!

I was thinking the same thing. Looks similar to my camera tripod

That is correct, they are very quick to snap open adjust the length and close. There are measurements on each leg section so you just remember the measurements open the clamp extend the leg out and snap close.

Obviously the sticks are set up and carried all set to go if you are walking or stalking game or adjusted before hand when sitting down.

Hello Everyone

Some better photos of the sticks showing how they can be used in different shooting positions.



Standing - as the gun is well supported on the front and rear, there is no weight to support, especially good for youngsters or ladies or when your PH is glassing an animal while you are set up on the sticks waiting for the shoot command or a better angle. Sometimes this wait can be minutes



Shooting uphill - the rear legs are shortened to allow for the uphill angle. This is in the standing position but the same can be done when kneeling or sitting



Shooting downhill - the front legs are shortened to allow for the down hill angle. This is in the standing position but the same can be done when kneeling or sitting



Kneeling is perfect when the grass is too high



This by far the steadiest shooting position, as long as you don't have grass



The 4 legs have measurements marked along them so you can make a mental of the length for your height to facilitate quick opening the next time around



They come in a nylon carry bag with straps to carry like a haversack or over your shoulder



The adjustable strap that holds the sticks together for your rifle length doubles up as a carry strap



The broad forend rest allows one to rest your hand when shooting a double rifle or to adjust quickly if your target moves



The front and back rests are rubber coated so will not scratch your fine wood stocks. The wider frontend allows one to adjust the gun quickly if an animal moves slightly, while the narrow V rear rest grips the stock which makes it very steady

$175 delivered to your door, except HI and AK, which is a few bucks more. We have a few sticks in stock that can be shipped straightaway.

My set arrived yesterday afternoon and while I haven't had a chance to use them yet they are very well made and easy to adjust and I think they are going to a great addition to my range gear, I have never shot off sticks before but I see where it will be a great help.

Gentlemen, Thanks for the initial feedback, I am confident that you will like the sticks once you have had a chance to use them. As a hunt booking agent having hunted all over the world with clients, I can say that 99.9% of the problems start when a client is unhappy that he has missed or worse still wounded and lost an animal. We spend $$$$ on our hunts, rifles, ammo, optics etc and then stake it all on 3 shakey wooden sticks tied together with rubber that we have never seen let alone practiced with! I truly believe these sticks will go a long way in making that first shot count.

Got my sticks today...they are indeed first rate! -MN

We got ours today and both Joyce and I find them easy to set up and amazingly stable as compared to our homemade bamboo tripod shooting sticks.

We have only dry fired off them but will be trying them at the range soon.
