Does any one have an extra case length gauge and shell holder for a 303 savage. I can get one from lee,but they want $16.00 plus $7.00 dollars for shipping, and allow 8 weeks for special orders.

Thank You

That's all I ever use. I got some length gages in a deal I don't think other then trying them once or twice I used them.

Don't even know what calibers I have any more or what box drawer they are in.

Case Length Gage? Don't own a one.

Measure your cases with the calibers easy.

How do you trim your brass without a case trimmer,Don't you have to have a guide to go into the brass so you can even trim at the mouth,I was taught you buy the lee length case trimmer for your cal,put into your drill and start trimming. Thats why I said I'm open to any suggestion on trimming rifle brass.

file dies are available for case length trimming.....but the easiest way is still by using a dial calipers.....Hornady has one on Midwayusa that is a very fine tool and very reasonably priced,

you should be able to find one locally, I bet an RCBS no. 2 or 31, for a 30-30 might work. take a case with you to your local store and find one that fits..I wouldn't order one and I think RCBS shell holders are $8.00

For case length use calipers, of a cheap case length gage for a couple of bucks..This isn't rocket science, don't complicate it...
