In the times we are in these days, I picked these powders up as they were available. Does anyone use any of these 3? What calibers?

Norma 201
Norma 203
Norma Magnum

Norma 201
Norma 203
Norma Magnum

I don't use these specific Norma powders but I believe Alliant markets the same powders, although different batches ?, under their names;
RL7 = Norma 201
RL15 = Norma 203
RL22 = Norma Magnum Rifle Powder

If Stonecreek on here could also comment it might verify ( or not ) what I believe. His propellants knowledge is pretty good.

Thank y'all for the info! I've been trying to gather all of the info I can on these powders. Usually I will buy Hodgdon or IMR stuff...but in the past year I started buying Viht & Norma. It's whatever you can find these days

Never used the Norma powder you listed. But I did buy 4 pounds of 202. Looks to be close to IMR4064. RL12 maybe 202.

I've loaded it in my 8x57 and its works. Loaded a box of 30-06 last night but have not shot. Loaded some 308 a while back but have not shot it. I am sure it will work fine.

I also bought some 203B if I recall, it looks to burn about like Varget.

Norma MPR and RL22 may be the same. Some of this powders is not that much different.

In the day and time, use what ya got, figure out how to use it.

I think:

ADI AR2208 = Hodgdon Varget

RWS/Rhino RP11 = Norma 203b = Alliant RL-15

Check out Norma's. They have a very different burn rate chart, and very good load data. Should get you going.

If you are brave, get a mid 1970's Hornady manual. A good bit of Norma data, but it strikes me as pretty hot.

I currently only use Norma 200 in 223 AR loads. It burns clean, the rifle and pistol run well. The min book load matches the PMC ammo that my son bought in bulk several years ago. It is a little expensive.
