I run 250 grain Sierra Game kings over Varget. Accurate, hard hitting, raccoons, coyotes, our small whitetails and plenty of feral pigs to show for em! Like the all copper bullets, noslers were a little to hard for my small stuff.

Currently prefer IMR-4350 behind 270s (83 gr/2700 fps), 285s (81 gr 2550 fps), 300s (80 gr 2500 fps). This is a Ruger GG, 20" bbl. WLRM. Hornady brass.

Tried I4320, H-380, W748, I4064. None were as accurate and gave flattened primers (whatever that means) before reaching velocity targets.

A "sleeper" powder is IMR-4831. Not in the manuals, but I generally get 100 fps less using my IMR-4350 charge weights. An additional 2 grains puts it on par. Compressed? Yeah. Accuracy with both powders is superb. ES is well under 35 fps, both powders. If there's a way to get in trouble with IMR-4831 I'd be shocked. I ran my first batch of brass out to 16 firings before getting incipient separations. Primer pockets never loosened.

Purchased Sta-ball 6.5 and H-4350 but have not tried yet. Truth is, perfectly happy with IMR-4350.

The .375 R appears to be somewhere between .308 and .30-06 in terms of expansion ratio. My Hornady fired brass has a powder capacity just 5 grains over that of fired RP .375 H&H.

Any of the 4350s would be my choice as best place to start.
