In continuing with my gathering of advice for Camp Perry, I need some recommendations concerning brass.

On one side--once fired cases, purchased from a private dealer.

On another side, once fired GI cases from Jeff Bartlett, at: www.gibrass.com

Yet another choice: brand new IMI cases from Widener's.

Which one should I do?

My brother likes the IMI cases, FWIW. Thinks they are very good value.

Hey Powderman, Ask yourself the question, "If I don't shoot well at Camp Perry, will I blame it on the cases I select, if I know for sure they are not the best ones?"

The only way I can think of to know whether or not the different cases you listed will make a difference is to get 50-100 of each and test them. Hopefully you will have time to do that and then order the ones that give you the most confidence.

If you are short of time, then go with Don's brother's experience. Having seen a good many of Don's posts, I don't get the impression that he is into misleading people at all.

Just looked at the Widener's catalog and that does look like an excellent price on the IMI cases.
