The reloading-data page shows some reduced loads with only 4-6 grain of (handgun)powder. Do I need some kind of filler to use these data ?

Hi some guys use a small bit of dacron to hold small amounts of power against flash hole,object is to keep primer flash from going over the top of power as case lays in chamber causing a misfire.Look on page 132 in a #12 speer manual it shows sr4759 starting at 8.0grs with 55gr bullet at 1600fps.Ive used this power a long time now and have no regrets on reduce loads or fireforming cases. Sorry, but filler is a good way to mess up a good barrel!

I have used the Red Dot loads without filler with good results. /
