Hi,
Probably the wrong forum but also the most read forum..

I want to buy cases and bullets from an US private citizen for export to Sweden.

How shall the US private citizen get an export license for the bullets and cases?

Theres no ammunition, primers or powder in the package.

You have to go trough registered dealers with export permissions as Sweden are counted as a high risc country.

Either try to find a dealer with an export license to handle it or contact the State Department or maybe BATF. Have to be an awful lot to justify the hassle. Plus you'd likely end up on some sort of list to be watched.

You can always make your own, forming from others.

What cartridge is it?

One of my long time friends sent some
brass to RSA. He had three homeland
security people come visit him. They
very strongly advised him not to do
it again. Some less than 50 cases I
think it was.

It's not worth doing and getting him caught at it. Check in the UK and see if what
you need is there.

Good luck,
George

I'd prefer the work of making my own to filling out all that paperwork, making the phone calls and the anxiety of waiting for each step to go half way smoothly.
[plus the possibility of it ending up in a trash can somewhere after something gets denied because the wrong number is placed in a box, or a check mark instead of an X is used in another]

he'd have to get it to an exporter who could send it to an importer to help it get through your customs.
it might have to be sent to a dealer/handler on your end for you to pick it up from.

I’m with Saeed on this one.
I can’t think of any brass worth the hassle of importation if it can be made from something else or bench made.

Have you tried thru Midway Europe, they have a store over there. Or out of England? There are some outfits there that import/export brass and bullets.
