Some do, some don't.

BUT, things will work much better with a decent Lee factory crimp die.

Wish you well, there's a recent discussion on here with that exact topic, look thru the last few days posts to find quite a good discussion about that subject.

I crimp. I use the Lee Factory Crimp when the cannelure is a band, use the regular crimp when the cannelure is a groove, like on the Rhino bullets or the NorthFork bullets. But that's just me.

I do crimp to eliminate feeding problems in my M70 Stainless Classic. Case mouth will at times hang up if not crimped.

Only as a last resort to getting a load to work. I use my .375 in a Ruger No. 1 and haven't come accross that feeding problem, but that's good info - thank you.

i personnaly dont crimp. it creats more pressure. which means less powder before you start cratering primers, blowing out primers as well as wearing out your brass faster. i get great accuraccy with no crimp and a max load.

try not crimping and working thru differant powders untill you get a load that shoots accuratly enough for you

Hi there

Always crimp lightly into the cannalure on the bullet. In addition to more consistant bullet release and reducing the risk of the bullet moving it alsop helps on smooth feeding when reloading quickly

regards

Mark
