Lee Micrometer Charge Bar. How set charges correctly?

Dear Sir's

I have a Lee PRO1000 in good condition with a new "LEE Micrometer adjustable charge bar".
- For my Colt 1911 in 45ACP, I use Vihtavuori N340 and lead bullit 230 grs.

According to Lee: VMD x Grains = cc
I calculate for my desired load: .1066 x 6,4 = .68
But...

When I put the charge bar to .68, my scale shows 1,5 grs, instead of 6,4 grs.

Please, advice
Chris Walker

I will save you some time..The micro bar does not work for small pistol charges.. You have to be above 10grains to make it work.
It simply is not worth the risk of a bad charge, and you will get them with that one.
I tried for 2 days trying to get 5 grains of bullsye to work, and did everything I could.
I finally called Lee, and he said don't use with low charges, period.
Find the right disc, and you will be better off
