Did some shooting with some bigger guns cast bullets and Felix lube.
In all guns the Felix lube did best:375 H@H 1"@100y 5shots
+/-1600 ft/sec ,416 R 1"@100y 5 shots +/- 1600ft/sec also 2"@100y 5 shots 2000ft/sec
All out perfomed Allox.
The 500 A Square:it shoots a 550 gr water hardened bullet (no gas check)loaded with XMP5477 at 45 gr 3/4"@100y Vel 1400 ft/sec.
A 50 or 55 gr charge leaves sheats of lead.
With this gun I did get 2000 + but that was with Paper patch or and a slower powder with filler.
Could it be that 45 of XMP is it for a plain base bullet and higher Vel needs a filler and the slower stuff ?
The filler seems to act as gas check.
