Rec'd my Lee .459 500 3R today and ran off 60 or so within 35 minutes. Otta ww alloy it weighs 485 grs at .459-.460 dia with a short bore ride of .449+. This bullet carries more lube than a Postell, has the same bearing surface as a Postell and is more flight efficent. Lee lists a BC of .443 on their site with an OAL of 1.35" compared to the Postell at around 1.42". This design certainly compares favorably to the Postell-- the Lee having a Gunn type nose with a rounded tip.

My mold casted flawlessly-- sans Lee-ment. Can't wait to shooten it tomorrow.

If anyone wants a pic just post your particulars or send a PM.

aladin, I went over to the Lee site and ordered one of those molds. I didn't even know they had that one! I would appreciate it if you could send a picture of it so I know what I just ordered. They don't have a picture of that one on-line yet. At least if there is I couldn't find it. My e-mail is:

pondercat@infomagic.net

Thanks, Pondercat
