MickinColoLove Casing Bullets
I have cast bullets for a lot of years but never felt the need to make bullets more than I do Now.

georgeldNice assortment.
Beats hell out of this shortage bullshit huh?
I just got a new mold from Tom, beautiful blocks.
Had some handles sent just before that. Put a set on. Need to get off my a and cast again.

NormanConquestJust like my reloading; the casting is more fun anymore than the actual shooting. Hey, it's really all about our interests, + in the shooting sports there is a plethora of areas of interest.

georgeldI always saved brass up until weather turned
cold in winter, or at least after elk season.
Casting and reloading have been my winter hobbies for years.
Have always had a problem with empty brass laying around the place.
Mostly now I NEED to get out there and Empty
some brass! The cast bullet buckets could use
a good refilling again too.
Mostly I just lost interest in doing it the last
3-4 years.

RJM.@Jax.FLMick,
I've cast for a lot of straight wall cases but not much for bottle necks.
So in any of these bottle neck cartridges, do the base of the bullet extend below the neck into the flare?
NEXT:
What are the 5 cartridges from right to left.
Thanks in advance
Bob

Bob,
From right to left
22 Hornet with Lyman RN/GC 44 grain
223 Rem with RCBS SP 55 Grain (not shown is a 220 Swift and 22-250 using the same bullet)
243 Win with RCBS SP 95 grain
25-06 Rem with RCBS SP 120 grain
7 x 57mm Mauser with RCBS SP 168 grain (not shown is a Lyman Silh/GC 160 grain)
For the bottle necks you need to get a neck expander die to keep from shaving the bullet while seating them.
I'll take a picture and post it here, the 7mm is the worst for seating depth but not bad. You'll get an idea how far it seats.

NormanConquestI bought a set of moulds from Veral Smith several years ago for my 7X57 AI after sending him a slug insert from my bbl. Perfect bore fit.
