I don't think you'd find a performance difference between the 18-21 or 23-34-- neither will mushroom. Both will fragment from the nose and break off in pieces. Normally 16 bhn and below will mushroom. A 50/50 alloy would be in the area of 13-15 given your 23-24 with your ww alloy per the amount of arsenic & antimony present.

my mix of 50-50 ww and lyno tests out between 16 and 19 depending on the quality of the lynotype alot of it is used so much before you get it that it looses some of its tin and antimony. Wheelweight varies alot more then people think too. But I use this mix for most of my hunting bullets and I have yet to have one fail. Never had one break and although its an extreem circumstance My buddy shot a Red stag with his .50 alaskan through the shoulders and we found the bullet under the hide on the far side mushroomed. But he was pushing this 475 grain lfn at around 1800fps. The bullet broke both shoulders and weighed 460grians and part of that was the missing gas check.
