ed35W, Go to the ShootersTalk.com Cast Bullet room and search the archives for "Felix Lube," "Felix World Famous Lube" or "Stick Lube" for an excellent lube recipe. If the archives go back that far, you'll especially want to read the 12/7/99 post. ...Maven

I've heard of people using a 50/50 mix of bee's wax and vasoline, never tried it though.

I secound Paul B's suggestion on the Felix lube. I believe the fastest I've shot lead with it was around 2500 with no leading in an HK G3.

For the Felix lube try the following site address:
http://www.castpics.net/RandD/felix_lube/felix_lube.htm
That is adirect link to the recipe.

You may also want to look in www.sixguns.com for an article about SSK bullets by Glen Fryxell (guest author section?). He shares his recipe for the lube he makes and uses, and it is simple melt together two ingredient lube. The funny thing is that he also has an article about bullet lubes at that web site and it does NOT have the formulation for his lube. [Confused]

I went back and looked it up try:
www.sixguns.com/crew/sskbullets.htm
for Glen's lube recipe.
