Might be a couple more weeks before I have this in hand. I intended to wait before posting pictures.
Nicely done mount Marius.

Now that's a nice looking mount.
Been wondering how I'm going to display
some tusks I've been told will be coming
my way soon.

Sure beats just laying loose on a table
among all the other stuff like this muntjac
and fox skulls. I only have one 8' wide
wall to put these things on. Starting to get
crowded now.

Thanks for showing us this.

George

I would like a bit of pig ivory just for small projects like front sight beads. Nice trophies guys. But we shot no toothy boars last March in Texas. I forgot to add, I am running the smoker today with parts of the nine porkers we brought home. Be Well, Packy.

Nice mount Dusty. The angled border is a nice touch.

I have some idea. My calculations for this project were off by .5 degrees. Had to improvise and shave a bit at a time to get it right. The glass was not perfectly symmetrical.
Fun project, well worth the learning curve. Sorry for all that dust & the crappy pictures.

I am a fan of these for warzenschwein or as the Spanish call them faccerros "warthogs".

They make some bigger ones, though I don't remember seeing them in Germany.
