Was hunting deer in the south zone Saturday morning,when two blacks and a calico came runnin' in. Could not resist!





A young sow that was the perfect size for the pit!



Shot at 7 AM




in the cooler by 11 AM,

hard to get much fresher than that!

The pipe caught my eye in the last picture. I smoke one very close to one like it. Nording, I have others I use also. Awesome picture.

I've always thought that some folks have a calling.

Some are called to be preachers

some are called to be teachers.

Hunting is literally called out of me. I started chasing rabbits with my "fice" when I was six. I've never stopped.

With very few exceptions, there is nothing that appeals to me more than being "afield".

I hunted friday evening through Monday morning.

I shot two critters with a rifle during that time.

I shot two hundred frames with my camera.

I'm heading back to Woodsboro in the AM. May stay thru Monday as the south zone deer season runs thru Sunday eve.

PS: I like this, not original with me........

a fellow noted the hunter/sportsman has no audience as other sporting events do. You only have yourself to either approve of or disapprove of your actions.
