Hogs have been in the trap intermittently for a while but got more frequent the last week, so I set it. First night they cleaned up the corn at the entrance but either my lingering scent inside or something spooked them and then didn't go on in. Last night this medium boar I've been watching for a while took the bait, and paid the price. He also spent a lot of time rooting around so I'll be headed back tomorrow with a rake to level out some of his work. I think this might be the same one that had been trapped but somehow managed to escape several months ago--

Sure looks like his digging days are over.
Unless he's just resting up for more.

He sure paid for all the disturbance done.

Good for you Dusty, welcome back.
