Jim K--it's awful. I sat with the M/L this morning waiting for a final doe--no dice. I actually had too many clothes on--the 600-yd walk to the stand had me too hot, then 45 minutes later I was chilly. Couple of drinks of coffee cured that though.

I think I need to go to the lease and shoot hogs tonight!

A friend oF mine was moving from Texas to AZ and was caught in the storm.

Took him 10hrs to do 4hrs of driving.

He was raised in Wis and knows how to drive on and in snow.

Great for hunting, so quiet when the big flakes fall. Driving not so hot. Too many crazies to watch out for. Great Texas snow pics.

I was hunting on a friend's ranch about 40 miles west of Kerrville when this storm came in. Did not shoot any pigs but got a deer, a turkey, and my first bobcat. Being from Utah I see snow all the time, but the Texans get excited about it. I was more excited about my bobcat.

When I saw the Texas snow report on TV, I thought it would be fun to hunt/track spot & stalk hogs in the snow.

Ahh hell, so that's where our snow went!

Some falling out here right now. Hope we get as
much as there was in these pictures.

That last one looks a lot like weather here:
Re: Soon as the storm is past the sun comes out
and melts it off.

Back in the 50's we had tenants from Lubbock
that claimed they'd never seen snow before.
I've seen snow many times when trucking in Texas.

Always glad to share it, do wish it would snow a
dandy up here like it used to.

Bloody snow is always nice to see, especially with
a dead hog in it. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
