ANy one ever used these in 8 X 30?

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw your post. I have had a pair of Celestron Regal 8 x40's for 10 years or so. Last summer I bought a pair of Leica Ultravid 10 x 40's. I honestly cannot tell much difference in sharpness and clarity between the two. The Celestrons are very good binos for the money.

I'm a poor working stiff and I have had celestrons for the last 3 yrs. They aren't bad for the price. I put them side by side with buddies Swaros and for the difference in price I'll take my Jap crap. If you glass heavily your eyes will tell you they aren't swaros etc. but for a look here and there they'll do.
