I just purchased a Leupold VX-II 6x36 to go on a Remington LVSF 7mm-08. I have heard a lot of good things about the Talley LW mounts but have also heard they sit higher.
Anyone happen to have any pics or know where I can look for pics of a smaller objective (<36mm) scope mounted with low talley lw's?? Just want to see what clearance there is and how it looks. Thanks.

I thought I had a picture online of my wife's Model 7 with Talley low rings but no luch. I'll try and get a picture this afternoon. I had her rings beadblasted to remove the anodizing so it would match the finish of the scope/rifle.

I'll give it a shot. I have the Talley 1pc's on my Kimber Montana with a Kahles 2x7x36 scope on her. Has about a 1/8 gap from obj bell to barrel on this rig. Hope the pic works and hope it helps.

Looks like the old "Holden" line of rings. wish that they made them for the FN Mauser.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.
