My son is going next year and has his choice of months to go for some plains game. Aug-Sept?

If you go in May, animal selection is better, but harder to hunt, especially the smaller game like warthogs. July-August less high grass but maybe fewer animals to choose from.

June, July & August are prime... I like late September myself...

Quieter, warmer, flights are easier and cheaper..

I went late July once and early August once.
Both were great.

If he's hunting Limpopo he's probably hunting stocked and game fenced area so a earlier booking might be better before the best specimens are shot.
