Something about that photo makes me think this is a zoo lion.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

The canines, spotty legs, no visible sign of the spine contour and ribs suggests he might be around 4yrs 2months 11days and counting even though it is claimed that when the elbow tufts appear they are 6+ Big Grin

I'd say my age just the way he looks at whatever is out there.

I do not know one thing about lions, but as a wild assed guess, older than 2.5 but no older than 5.5.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

I was thinking Gene Simmons bleached blond until you nailed it.

This is merely precocious puberty in a male lion cub.
Probably due to being bottle fed at the farm ... messes with their hormones.
