In case those among us who are DSC members, the email went out today letting everyone know that CMS has been chosen Outfitter of the Year. Congratulations Buzz, Myles and crew, well deserved and about time! AR members helped make this happen (and shall remain nameless unless they chose to step forward) and thanks to those gentlemen.

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

Wonderful news indeed and very well deserved.
I really am chuffed for all of CMS's staff, this is a huge accomplishment and testimony once again to the statement that 'hunters and outfitters make the best conservationist'

Congratulations to my old friend Buzz Charlton and the staff of CMS. Well deserved but they could have and should have been recognized for a while now. Well done gentlemen!

Given my humble means, I could only afford to go on one top end safari and I was lucky to spend it at Dande with Myles and Bongi and Norest and Eddy and with Buzz around the campfire. Now at 80, I can recall every detail... I was very fortunate. Congratulations guys...

Congrats Buzz and Myles and very well deserved. You have kept the Zimbabwe flag flying high through out some very challenging times. I have no doubt all the members of SOAZ, Zimparks, Campfire, ZPHGA and all the Zimbabwean conservation groups will be very proud that one of our own have been chosen as DSC Outfitter of the year. Good guys pick good guys.

This is a DSC Award, and Buzz and his teams should be proud of it.

Unlike that other organization, who made a habit of picking crooks, like them I suppose! rotflmo

Well deserved, and we all wish them, both the award givers and the recipients, all the best.

Makes every hunter proud of them. clap
