Building an AR in Massachusetts: Sources?
I'm trying to find definitive info on how to build an AR in Massachusetts. There has to be a way.
I want to (somehow) buy the lower, get a mag pinned in place, to let me have pistol grip, sliding stock, etc. Load through the ejection port, it works great.
All I see is a lot of options: don't, you can't, it's confusing on purpose, etc.

Anybody know a definitive source?
Thank you.

As I read your state law, you cannot even buy a receiver.
Also, as I read it, if it incorporates any parts (listed) from an AR-15, even triggers, bolts. and charging handles. So even if you made the whole thing from scratch; (80% receiver) it would not be compliant.
However, I don't live there and only know what I read.
Looks like you need to move.

Does it have to be an "AR-15?" If you want a semiautomatic .223 you might look into the Keltec RDB. It's not explicitly prohibited, shares zero parts from an AR (AR magazines are compatable) and is offered in forms that have none of the nasty, horrible, evil, menacing "assault weapon" features.

Full disclosure, I don't live there either and for more reasons than just their over-reaching legal nonsense.

And don't move. Stay there and fix the problem.
