Darne "model" Shotgun

I have a Darne model shotgun. It seems to be a 14mm bore and is, in total about 20" long. It is a cutaway on one barrel with a sliding breech. I have some pictures but can find no information on it.

I wish to sell it but will have to sell to the US or Canada as it could be fired on one barrel and this means it is a Section 1 gun in the UK (and needs a ticket for ownership).
I have pictures if someone can advise.
Thanks

Obviously Darne shotguns aren't subject to any special controls in France and can be sold over the counter to anyone who has a current hunting licence or is a member of a shooting club, which means most of the gun owners in France. I'm not sure what you mean by "it is a cutaway on one barrel". I have a Darne side-by-side myself and they are quite sleek with the sliding lock mechanism. Post some pictures and maybe we can figure out what it is all about.

Here's a little information on the gun:
http://www.gunshop.com/darne.htm

I think you might want to see if there is any interest for your cutaway gun from the remaining Darne specialist in St. Etienne, France. Since this shop specializes in work on Darnes, they might want a cutaway model for display.

If you scroll down the page you will find the address and telephone number of Bruchet Darne.

I can't help but wonder if the cut-away gun was some sort of salesman's sample? Would imagine some collector would really like to own this. There must be some "Darne Collector's Assn". In the US, there is the Double Gun Society, shooters and collectors of various financial means

OK Darne lovers, you have to check this link of Bruchet Darne. I didn't know they made them in Express Rifles! They look beautiful. Scroll down to see the photos. There is even a salesmans gun much like the one that prompted this thread.

That's Dave, the founder/webmaster of gunshop.com. There's about half a dozen serious Darne collectors that are regular readers on the BBS at www.gunshop.com , so if you post your desire to sell in the Doubleguns for sale section you might get some action.
