The H & R's were built with both FN Mauser actions and with Sakos. Both are desirable guns. The one you describe is the plainer model, and it's value would largely depend on it's condition. Typically, in a seller-to-end user deal, such a rifle would bring from $300 to $500, or perhaps a bit more. If it is in poorer rather than better condition, the FN action is by itself is worth as much as the gun, so $300 ought to be about the bottom.
