Dear fellow collectors!

I´ve read somewhere, that the stampings on Inglis HPs were applied after phosphatizing. So the stampings should be "in the white" inside the letters.

I have been offered a fine looking Mk I* . Lettering is phosphatized.

Is the gun refinished, and if, was this done regularly, or not?

Any idea about the value?

It has tangent sights, stock slot, and "CH" serial number.

Thanks in advance, Hermann
