i have an older browning fox youth bow in good shape. i was wondering if anyone had any idea of what it was worth. a friend of mine was wanting it for his boy. i tried giving it to him but he wants to know what the actual value of it is.

anybody got any ideas?

My first two bows were given to me when I was young. They meant more than anything that could have been bought for me. My uncles each gave me one, here I am 3 decades later still passionate about archery.

I dunno, I'd concentrate on a way to give it to the boy without having dad pay directly for it. Having the boy work it off might be the way to do it.

Try doing a search on E-Bay or one of the other acution sites.

I like the idea of letting the boy work for the bow. He will probably take better care of it than if it was just a gift. It worked for my boys when they both wanted a new pump shot gun.
