If you don't like PETA.....SUPPORT your local proshop or he'll out out of business. If he won't or can't carry a piece of gear that's when you shop online.

They have the best prices on arrows most of the time. Even cheaper than ebay.

On other acces., ebay is good sometimes. ebay is ridiculous at times as well.

Also go to www.archerytalk.com and look in the classfieds forum. Lots of stuff for sale there.

Good luck

See https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1021043/m/846101774 for a similar thread.

My local proshop is a ripoff artist that won't support me even if I pay the extra 30% to try to support him. He wants to sell you a bow for MSRP then never see you again until you need another bow. He carries one style/brand of arrows and will not order even other arrows from the same manufacturer. After 5 years of trying I gave up on him.

Ok… ok… Support your local guy? I say yes but I also say shop around to others. Unless you buy blanks (shafts ) or releases, you need to try and feel what you shoot. If you do go “online†I would think the BIG CABel and is a great place to start as they stand by what they sell. I use three local guys for myself but I am lucky in that respect. I also do all I can for me buy getting raw MATs and do all tuning on my own.

Don - At least you tried to do the right thing. We have one BUTTheaded local shop here also. When I can I try to shop there as the son(future owener) is a decent guy, unlike his dad.

I admit that after shooting trasd for many years I don't buy much stuff anymore. I'm off to the trad nationals in Cloverdale, Ind. A hundred feathers, & some field points and I'm good for another 2-3 years. Wink

Did you kill your bear yet???

I have found that FS Discount Arrows are about the cheapest on arrows and supplies. Been using them for about 15 years now. Mountain Archery, TR Outdoors are two others I use regularly.

I would strongly second the recomendation to FS Discount Arrows as I have bought a ton of stuff through them--- however that said -- it appears the old standby --BOWHUNTERS DISCOUNT WHAREHOUSE -- is back under the name of Bowhunters Superstore -- have not used them yet but the old store was absolutely the best
