Hi,

Hi,

Thanks for the comments

Ben: It is central Arnhem ... I believe you stay in Katherine ... not too far from there = freshwater and no salties

Karoo: Ek neem aan jy praat Afrikaans ... groete vanuit Oz ... ja dis baie mooi

Cheers! I thought it looked like Central, especially with the swimming! I did live in Katherine for a long time, but now live in the bush. Bulman was home for a couple of years, and that's where I got three buffalo with my longbow.

Thought I might seen some of your posts on Tradgang ... yes, it is in the Bulman/Weemol area ... I have also hunted in East Arhem (Balma/Gapawiyak ... spelling) but by far enjoy the freshwater opposed to the coastal area ... less mozzies, less humidity, no midgies and I can swim and bath in the creeks ... lol

I miss the people, but not the road! Especially to Weemol! Do you camp near Momob?

Eugene, thanks for the awesome photos. One of these days I must get over to Aus with my bow. Did you go with an outfitter or was it a self-guided trip?

Hi JCHB,

I lived in Darwin for a few years and bow hunted this area many times (+20) with 2 buddies. (I now live in Brisbane) Last year I decided to start a business ... refer to www.ausbuffsafari.com ... the pics from this hunt was were I took 3 friends out for a trip.

I have direct access to the area.

Groete,
Eugene

Hi CB

Yes, bow only. The rifle in the pics is used for backup and on this trip was used by a non-bowhunting buddy to get buff.

Thanks & regards
Eugene
