I had 4 pts. and decided to try them on this archery unit that just went from unlimited to a fixed #. Whaddyaknow, I pulled it. I'm trying to now do the research and decide if it might be funner to go get to know this unit and see new country, terrain, challenges vs. going back to the old haunts in western MT. I seem to pull MT every other year (have drawn it this year) or so and can always rifle hunt there into November.
I'm primarily concerned with private vs. public access, quality of bulls, ability to get away from crowds, general aesthetic experience, etc.
As the cliche goes "not asking for honey holes," nor would I expect them, but there is no substitite for on-the-ground experience either. Happy to PM. Thanks, Blixen
